Want to make sure that you are powering up in the correct order. First you need to power on the PV124T & let it get to a ready/ idle state. Once that is done then you can power on the server. While the server is going through post you can look at the sas card and you should see that the PV124T is seen. Once it is seen by the controller card in the bios then you should be able to let the server post into windows and should see the PV124T show up in device manger & if the dell drivers are still install it will name the PV124T by name.
Now if you power on the PV124T & you get an error and the unit doesn’t go to a ready state then we need to know the error so we can clear it & get the unit to a ready state
