That setup would work just fine. As long as the 450GBof space for your SQL will be larger enough this config would be good for your performance and as well for the redundancy of the hard drives if one was to fail. If you needed to add more space to the SQL you can add a drive to that VD and make it a RAID 5. If you have any other questions please feel free to let me know.
