We called support and they looked at the logs and said it didn't appear that anything was wrong, but one of our raid controllers had a lot more errors then the other one. And the thought one of the disks might be going bad. The array is in "not optimal" status. It seemed to be performing just fine but it make me nervous. The array itself is blinking amber on the front left face but everything else, disks, power, controllers are all green lights. I have read in this form that in some cases this is a bug in the firmware and or from a previously failed drive. Support said our logs were pretty big and the alert might have been triggered by that, which doesnt make a lot of sense to me. My tech that i had check out the error said its not a big deal, it still make me nervous since my googleing hasnt found may answers. Has anyone run into this before? What was the fix/resolution? Thanks in advance.
