powervault 124T LTO6 setup with woe

I'm having some trouble and wondering if I could get some guidance in this forum.

I'm just starting with a tape library system 124T LT06 (under warranty) and I'm getting errors. This has been racked for several months and just now firing it up.  I'm using the web interface (and ITDT) and running some tests since my tape application wasn't seeming to do all that well.

operator control panel shows (and did this after I power cycled it)

autoloader v90.0 (005a.0h)

I installed the IBM Tape Diagnostic Tool Standard Edition on a 2012R2 SAS attached system and
ran install_itdt_se_WindowsX86_64_9.0.0.20150609. 
When running device test screen it gets FAILED EC 5.
