Middle of last year Windows update entered an optional update for my MD3000:

It has no real description of what it does and I can't seem to round up any Dell supplied software update. I generally prefer to install updates from Dell rather than a generalized Microsoft release. This was a recommendation from Dell techs some years ago.
Does anyone know what this update is for and if there are any special considerations for installation?
