PowerEdge 1850 with PowerVault 220s - WIndows 2003 Server 32 bit boot up issue. Blank screen with PV connected but still pings...

Hi,

• Have a weird issue with our PowerEdge 1850 server connected to s SCSI PV 220s disk array.

• When the array is connected the server Windows 2003 boots up to a blank black screen. We cant RDP to it or do anything with it.
• We can only start server in Safe Mode with networking.
• When the PV 220s is disconnected the server boots up fine as per normal.

We have done the following to resolve but no luck:

All device drivers updated.

·         SCSI drivers updated

·         BIOS flashed

·         Physical SCSI cables changed

·         SCSI cards swapped

·         Various boot up combinations used.

·         Boot sector repair

·         MBR repair

·         File system repair

·         Even removed Symantec AV in case it was applying a IP filter

Any help on this would be much appreciated! This is our main fileserver.

Safe mode with networking is helping but obviously we need to get it back to normal operation
